1989 Ford Mustang Core Support Removal

i took a few videos of the removal process of a core support on my 1989 ford mustang convertible. its overly not to hard to remove the core support. you have to remove the front bumper n the reinforcement, remove the fenders, you will remove the radiator and anything else that is attached to the core support. you will have to use a spot weld removal drill bit also. just make sure to fully drill out each spot weld as you go that is attaching the core support to the front end. there are hidden ones also.

a friend of mine had recently been in a minor front end collision with his mustang. he purchased a new used core support from a local wreaking yard for under 100.00, in these videos will show from start to finish.

if you are an owner of a 2000 - 2006 Tahoe,Suburban,1500,2500,GMC Denali,Cadillac escalade then you may or may not have encountered the stepper motor failure with these cluster, signs that the cluster is failing is flutter in the gauges or lack or gauges working and intermittent gauge function. as the gauges electric motor fails it can no longer keep the needle in place.

this problem just started recently with the fuel sending unit in the gas tank, i noticed the fuel level would random drop to E, i have a bluetooth scan tool, i pulled a pending code for the sending unit low voltage. the tahoe still runs fine but i know ill have to change the fuel pump n sending unit shortly.

Chevrolet  has had a problem with sending units for years with there trucks and suburbans also.
