2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Rebuild

hey guys and gals i recently started working on my GTP, i purchased the car back in January 2018, the previous owner had the transmission rebuilt just before i purchased the car. unbeknown to me the intake gaskets started to leak on the way home. i didnt notice the leak until it was too late, coolant had mixed with the oil we all know what that means ill just say milk shake anyone..lol so i proceeded to replace the intake gaskets and supercharger gasket. i changed the oil 3 times it was clean at that point n i thought i would have no issues after that. well i was wrong one night in june i ended up spinning a connecting rod bearing.  so it sat for months until i acquired the replacement engine. i ended up purchasing a donor gtp off of offer up. here is why i call it a saga watch the videos to see what i have been threw trying to get this car back on the road.

Dodge Neon 2.0 SOHC P0340 Fix

i recently worked on a 2005 Dodge Neon 2.0 Sohc. the car had come from an tow auction that my friend devin had purchased it was a non running car at that time no key. so after getting a key made for the car it started right up without a problem. we had noticed that someone had installed a new clutch. they had also replaced the starter, they also had installed a new timing belt.  the car would run for about 2 minutes then the check engine light would come on. the only code was P0340 Camshaft intermittent signal. i replaced the Camshaft sensor and it didnt fix the problem. i proceed to check wiring from the ecu to all of the engine sensors there was a problem i also replaced the cam magnet n that did not fix the problem i tired all the fixes that are present thru the forums for neon's n pt cruisers and stratus's. i decided to check mechanical timing. i rented a Harmonic balancer puller, pulled the harmonic balancer off. removed the engine mount plate aka front plate. removed the 2 bolts at the bottom of the timing belt cover. removing the timing belt cover i noticed something was wrong, i have worked on a lot of these 2.0 sohc engines. i hand cranked the engine to TDC on the crank shaft n thats when i noticed the camshaft sprocket was 2 teeth advanced. loosened the timing belt tension-er.  after retiming the engine, i put the harmonic balancer back on and started the engine. after about 2 minutes i decided to check for codes with my scanner. the P0340 code was finally gone no more random bogging or stalling past 2300 Rpm. so if you have recently performed a timing belt replacement and this code comes up almost instantly recheck your timing marks to confirm nothing moved.

Gambler 500 Build 1998 Hyundai Elantra

this is our Gambler 500 build its a 1998 Hyundai Elantra, it was purchased from a tow auction back in October of 2017. it was in an accident back in December 2017. my friend showed me a video of the gambler 500 rally. we both thought what the hell run the car in the gambler it still runs n drives just fine, we started working on it a few days ago. my friend had purchased a new radiator from eBay, i supplied the cooling fans from my other project. we did have to do an oil change due to the fact of the hood was left off of the car for 3 months so rain water had dripped down the dipstick tube slowly filling the crank case full of water or someone decided to dump water in the crank case we haven't fully figured it out. the car doesn't have a blow head gasket so we know something happened. we do have a set of 4x6 led headlights to use in place of the destroyed head light assembly's. we also have a heavy duty front bumper from a ford ranger that we will be mounting to the front bumper brackets also. i will post more videos on our progress on the Hyundai aka shit car .
